Protect Post Office Services in Exmouth

I know how important the Post Office is to people in Exmouth. It provides a wide range of services that local people rely on, from sending letters and parcels and buying stamps, to accessing cash, paying bills and carrying out other important everyday transactions.

The Post Office counter in TG Jones is due to close at the end of September, and since the announcement, a lot of constituents have been in touch with me about what the closure will mean for them and for the town.

I want to understand the full impact of losing the Post Office counter, which services people currently use and, importantly, what local people want to see happen next.

I have been campaigning for a Banking Hub in Budleigh Salterton to help meet the needs of the local community there, and I would welcome your views on whether a Banking Hub in Exmouth could similarly meet local needs.

However, I also know that the Post Office provides much more than banking. I want to understand whether people in Exmouth rely on the Post Office for its wider range of services and whether, as a result, a new Post Office branch would be a better fit for the town.

That's why I'm asking you to take part in my short survey below.

It will only take a minute to complete, and every response will help me build a clearer picture of what services people in Exmouth need and make the strongest possible case for the right solution for our town.

Please fill in the survey below and have your say.
