It was a real pleasure to visit the Budleigh Salterton Probus Club last week and have the opportunity to speak about my background, my time in the military, and the journey that brought me into politics.
I always appreciate the chance to reflect on the experiences that have shaped my life and to hear directly from local people. The questions and discussion afterwards were thoughtful, honest and engaging - thank you to everyone who took part.
