Last night, I had the pleasure of joining the panel on BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions?—a show that brings together a range of voices to discuss the most pressing issues facing our country. It was an engaging and thought-provoking experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed the lively debate that unfolded.
The show was packed with pertinent questions from the audience, which covered a variety of critical topics. We discussed everything from the challenges facing British steel, the impact of US and Chinese tariffs on our economy, to the ongoing issues in farming. One of the most important conversations centred on housing for young people, a topic I’m particularly passionate about given the rising difficulty for many to get on the property ladder.
