The proposed Exeter Harbour Revision Order remains a major concern for many locally.
I’ve been in contact with the Department for Transport and received a response from Minister Keir Mather. He confirmed the process is currently with the Marine Management Organisation, and that he is willing to meet once objections have been reviewed.
I will be taking up that meeting at the earliest opportunity and will continue to press this issue.
As I’ve said before, I’m open to discussions on improving safety on the Exe Estuary and surrounding areas. But Exeter City Council must engage properly- proposals that affect large parts of our constituency cannot be put forward without meaningful consultation.
