Today I had the pleasure of visiting the Stroke Survivor Club in Exmouth for their family fun day. It was a fantastic event, full of energy and friendship, and it was wonderful to see so many people from across the community coming together.
The club does outstanding work supporting stroke survivors and their families, providing not only practical help but also a strong sense of community and encouragement. Meeting members and hearing their stories was a real privilege, and it showed just how much of a difference the club makes in people’s lives.
A big thank you to Stephen and the whole team for the warm welcome and for all the incredible work they do in Exmouth. The dedication of the volunteers and organisers is inspiring, and the family fun day was a brilliant example of how community spirit can bring people together.
