I had a really positive visit to Dove Lodge Care Home recently.
It was great to meet Angela and Keith and hear more about the brilliant work they and their team are doing to support residents.
We also had a really helpful conversation about some of the wider challenges facing the care sector, particularly around staffing, and the pressures created by the recent Budget, including the impact of changes to national insurance and rising costs on small businesses.
It was lovely to spend time chatting with both staff and residents. There’s a real sense of warmth and community at Dove Lodge, and it’s clear just how much the team care about the people they support
